When I was reading the 10th chapter I could totally understand Grandpa. I think it is not an easy thing to leave your land. But while you are living in your land you never realize how important and nice it is. After you live away from your land for a while you realize you actually need to belong somewhere. As a human we need to belong to a land belong to a family or friends. In the story they lost their land and almost everything they have. But they can still stand because they are family.
